Delete Your GymBuddy Account

You can permanently delete your GymBuddy account and associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

Open GymBuddy and sign in.
Go to the Me (Profile) tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

Email 2026gymbuddy@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your profile and profile photo
Your matches and message history (messages you sent)
Your gym check-ins and check-in history
Your community posts, comments, and reactions
Your swipe history, blocks, and reports you filed
Your authentication account (email/login)

What we may retain

We may retain limited records where required by law or to keep other users safe (for example, abuse or safety reports filed about your account), and anonymized, aggregated analytics that no longer identify you. Retained safety records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
